Ruben Östlund

ruben_ostlundRuben Östlund (born 1974) made his feature film debut with the controversial The Guitar Mongoloid, which won the FIPRESCI Award at the Moscow International Film Festival, 2005. In 2006, he directed the short film Autobiographical Scene Number: 6882, which won the Prix UiP-Edinburgh. His second feature Involuntary premiered in the Cannes Official Selection of 2008 and was hailed as one of the most original films in the section Un Certain Regard. Östlund’s visual storytelling and uncompromisingly wellchoreographed long takes attained critical success. His latest film Incidents By a Bank won the Golden Bear for best short film at the 2010 Berlinale. The film will be screened in out International Short Film section.

 

Elin Sander

elin_sanderSince 1999, Elin Sander has been a producer and manager of the film company Agitator. This year she works as festival director for the Nordisk Panorama – 5 Cities Film Festival being held in Bergen. Sander has produced a number of short films, commercials and commissioned works as well as the television series Kulturell uorden (2003) and the feature documentaries Gunnar Goes Comfortable (2003) and Man Woman Coffee (2007). 2010 will see the premiere of Sander’s newest feature documentary Gunnar Goes God, and the tv-documentary Bjørnen Sover.

 

Anna Croneman

Anna.cronemanAnna Croneman (born 1968, Sweden) is co-owner of Bob Film Sweden. She works as one, of the company’s two, producers and is involved with the production of both feature films and television series. Bob Film Sweden’s productions include, Ping Pong Kingen, the winner of the main award at Sundance 2008, and the Emmy nominated TV series Kronprinsessan (2006). Croneman has collaborated with several Norwegian directors. She is co-producer of Pål Slettaunes’ film Babycall, and Maria Sødahls Limbo, both of which are set to premiere in 2010.

 

Odd Geir Sæther

odd_geir-saetherOdd Geir Sæther is a highly experienced cinematographer. He began his career in 1959 as camera assistant for Tore Breda Thorsen in ABC film. By 1964 he had established himself as a free-lance operator, and won the award for best camera work on the short film Nedfall by Erik Borge. Sæther worked as cinematographer on several of Arne Schouen’s films and was involved in many German, Swiss, Austrian and French films from 1977 to 1999. He produced a large number of commercials and commissions for the production company Lighthouse AS, before working together with David Lynch on the cinematography of Inland Empire in 2005.

 

Ragna Lindboe

Ragna Lindboe is a director, educated at the Norwegian Film School. She has held a wide variety of jobs within film, both in Norway and internationally. She started her career in Liverpool as a production assistant on the feature film Under the Skin (1997), directed by Carine Adler. In Norway, Lindboe has been involved in the making of many feature films. She was responsible for the casting of Scars (2002), and was also assistant director for the film Hawaii, Oslo (2004). Lindboe was the deputy leader of the Directors Guild of Norway for four years..
