The award of 4 000 Euros is given by FotoVideo and the Norwegian Short Film Festival

About the director:

Miia Tervo

(b. 1980) is currently a directing and documentary film student at the University of Art and Design Helsinki UIAH, School of Motion Picture, Television and Production Design.

About the film: A tribute to the old Finnish radio program Yölinja (1986 – 2002). The film reminds us that sometimes we need people to awaken and shake us up. Above all, to listen. This documentary is a fine example of a film that blurs the borders between fact and fiction. It is a visually beautiful compilation of live action, audio piece, animation and archive material.
Jury’s statement: ”Structured around the recordings of an anonymus caller at a night time radio show, and through a beautiful compliation of fiction, documentary and animation this film researches the fine line between self absorpton and collaps.”

Honorary mentions went to Tussilago by Jonas Odell (Sweden).

The international jury has been: Knut Åsdam (Norway), Mårten Nilsson (Sweden), Suvi West (Finland), Roland Nguyen (France), Kari Moen Kristiansen (Norway).
