International submission

SUBMISSION TO THE INTERNATIONAL FILM COMPETITION

Submission of film to the international competition at the 36th Norwegian Short Film Festival will be open at www.Reelport.com between 1st of February and the 15th of March 2013.

To be admitted, the film must not exceed 35 minutes and have premiered after June 2012.

The pre selection committee will be present at Uppsala International Short Film Festival, Rotterdam, Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival, Berlinale and Tampere International Short Film Festival.

INTERNATIONAL AWARDS

THE GOLDEN CHAIR and NOK 50 000 to be awarded to the best short film in the international short film competition.

Nomination to EUROPEAN FILM ACADEMY SHORT FILM 2013, to a European film in the international competition, will take place in Grimstad.
A short film qualifies as European when the director is born in Europe or is of a European nationality. European, in the sense of the European Film Academy, shall include Israeli and Palestinian.
