Alexandru Mavrodineanu

Alexandru Mavrodineanu (b. 1976) is a Romanian director and screenwriter raised in Austria, France and Italy. At the age of 18 he moved to Germany to gain practical experience in film and television. From 2003 to 2005 he was based in Jerusalem, working as a director of photography for the German television channel RTL covering the Middle East. He returned to Romania in 2006 in order to direct his own screenplays.
