The Arbor tells the powerful true story of Bradford playwright Andrea Dunbar, known for The Arbor (1977) and Rita, Sue and Bob Too (1986), and her daughter Lorraine. The film is a celebration of Dunbar´s triumphs and a dissection of her legacy, both from a wider social perspective and on a personal level as we witness the pain of her short and tragic life.
