Every day 73-year-old Seppo shouts “shut up” to 102-yearold Linda. In a small red hut in Northern Finland, in the middle of nowhere near the Russian border, they find joy in the little things in life. This is a short film about life in the remote villages of Kainuu, and about a way of life that is about to disappear.

Markku Heikkinen

Markku Heikkinnen (b. 1966) has since 1986 worked as a TV- and Radio journalist for the Finnish Public Broadcasting Company YLE, and since 1993 as a freelance documentary filmmaker. From 2004–2005 he was the Chairman of the Finnish Documentary Guild.
