Gertrud and her friends have always had a good time together through the years. But as her husband’s illness gets worse, and she finds herself on the edge of losing her job, her friends plan to put a smile on her face again.
Anna Elise Martensen (25) was born and raised in Gentofte, Denmark. Since 2016, after taking a six-month course at Johan Borups College in Copenhagen, she has worked with documentary films with a special interest in visual language. Subsequently, she has worked freelance with smaller portrait films. In 2017 she made an experimental performance at CPH:DOX called “Perceptional Bodies”, where she explored the eroticism of documentary narratives.
